Camping Tents
Camping brings to mind an image of a camping tent, pitched in a clearing in lush woods by a gurgling stream overlooking rugged peaks. The tent is probably the most important decision you have to make when equipping your camping expedition or should we say holiday.
The range of camping tents is enormous and come in a wide variety of sizes, quality and color and just
as wide a range of shapes. Dome tent, tetragon tent, apex tent, tunnel shapes, cabin tent, family tent and even kids tents. It goes without saying that there is just as large a variety in prices too. There are tents available for the amateur camper as well as the professional expeditionary.
However, compared to an expensive vacation at a seaside resort, camping tents are relatively inexpensive in price, although, as with most things it’s always possible to find the expensive luxury items.
Camping tents are mostly light in weight and are very flexibly built with waterproof material ranging between nylon, silicone, polyurethane and so on. They are obviously highly transportable and can be easily packed into your average family wagon.
Potentially you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a camping tent. The industry has come up with a large variety of tents catering for every taste, spacious tents with many ‘rooms’ and covered patio areas, kitchens, toilets and store rooms, with enough space not only for people but also for pets.
At the other end of the scale pup-tents or bivy sacks are available for campers who require very little space and can make do with just a sleeping bag. The latter being more appropriate for and favoured by hikers who have to consider the weight and space of their portable accommodation.
Most camping tents are designed for round the year use and are carefully designed to withstand most kinds of weather.
While camping tents are available in bright colors, if the camper wants to go unnoticed it is possible to choose something that will blend in with the surroundings.
Best Buy
Time after time we’ve checked site after site only to find that the cheapest Camping Tents are to be found at Amazon.
Other sites may discount a few dollars, but this is lost (and more besides) after you add delivery charges on top.
As well as that, many other sites may offer a lower price, but they never have any in stock. In most cases they hope to lure you in with one product they don’t have, in the hope you’ll purchase something else from them while you’re there.
Our advice? Stick with Amazon for your cheapest camping tents. They really are, consistently the cheapest source of camping tents. In almost every case, products purchased at Amazon qualify for super saver and include free delivery. Certainly if you buy a couple of other things besides, they are one of the best online sources for all camping equipment.
This is why we almost exclusively select Amazon as our best buy stockist, and why you can still get the cheapest camping tents from them.
